The Argyros Family continues its legacy of support at USC
The Argyros Family has left its mark across USC through philanthropy, such as revitalizing the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and supporting lifesaving student mental health interventions and the Keck School of Medicine of USC.
Now the Argyros Family Foundation continues its steadfast support by funding a project that unites generations of Trojans: USC’s new Ronald H. Bloom Football Performance Center. With its grant of $10 million, the foundation becomes a Cornerstone Donor for a facility that’s critical to the future of USC Football. The university broke ground on the center Nov. 7.
“USC Football is what unites the Trojan Family across generations,” said Stephanie Argyros, who serves as co-CEO for the Argyros Family Foundation alongside her sister, Lisa Argyros. “From alumni to current students, to fans locally and internationally, we all come together through football.”
Scheduled to open in summer 2026, the 160,000-square-foot Bloom Football Performance Center will be a high-tech home for the Trojans. Its two full-length practice fields and best-in-class spaces for nutrition, training, and recovery will provide an unmatched experience for student-athletes, making L.A. the place to be for college football. The Bloom Football Performance Center forms the core of Athletics West—a collection of capital projects to build, maintain, and update world-class facilities on the west side of the University Park Campus.

The 11 philanthropists who serve as Cornerstone Donors for the Bloom Football Performance Center will occupy a special place in USC history. It’s fitting that the Argyros Family stands among them. The iconic peristyle plaza at the Coliseum is named the Julia and George Argyros Plaza—after Stephanie and Lisa’s parents—in recognition of the family’s generous gift toward the historic landmark’s renovation.
“My favorite part of the USC experience is its sense of family,” Stephanie said. “I’m thrilled we could contribute to the growth of our student-athletes and do our part to bring more families together for exciting USC football games in the future.”
